After the disaster with the Figaro Moog bought a new car to beat Marty and the Blue Turd. Let's say it's what you would have expected. Yet, I'm pretty sure it'll do surprisingly bad in the race, so maybe the Blue Turd still has a chance of winning.

I was wondering when the would do something with a real 'strayan caah.

V8 powah.

Also that stereotype of the Australian brah/white trash was hilarious.

I have a feeling it will be a lot like this part of At Full Throttle

Only not quite that caliber of cars. Also, why crush the Turd? It's a piece of MCM history!

Not only is it a piece of MCM history, it's also a nice backup vehicle to have. With almost no displacement it can't be that expensive with road tax and insurance. If I had to drive a tiny econo-hatch, I'd rather have the Blue Turd than a lot of the current offerings.

Oh and BTW! Thanks for posting that. Brought back old memories! I watched the At Full Throttle DVD several times with a mate who still has a SD1.

Hey, any time! Agreed on the Blue Turd; it is really economical, fun (or at least seems so), and unique, and has earned miata wheels to show for it. I have seen At Full Throttle more than a healthy number of times as well, and I really enjoy it. Awesome that your friend has an SD1, I always wish we had gotten them shipped over to this side of the pond. The Clarkson Rover was actually made by a professional tuning company with customers' parts lying around the shop, and was crushed soon after the shooting of the special. Hope the same fate doesn't await the turd...
